Crowning New Role Models: Miss Southeastern Massachusetts and Miss Southeastern Massachusetts' Teen 2024

The Miss Southeastern Massachusetts competition crowned two outstanding young women on Saturday, November 9, 2024, in Westport, MA. Lily Jeswald claimed the title of Miss Southeastern Massachusetts, while Mariana McCallum was named Miss Southeastern Massachusetts’ Teen. Both queens impressed audiences with magnificent vocal performances as their talents and will go on to represent Southeastern Massachusetts at the Miss Massachusetts and Miss Massachusetts' Teen competitions in June in Worcester, MA.

As a local preliminary to the Miss America Opportunity, the Miss Southeastern Massachusetts program empowers young women to showcase their talents, intelligence, and community commitment. Lily and Mariana each received a $500 scholarship and an exciting prize package that includes a photoshoot with K. Garcia Productions to commemorate this milestone in their journeys.

Standout Achievements and Community Impact

In addition to her crown, Lily Jeswald earned awards for Overall Onstage Interview and Overall Red Carpet Gown, demonstrating her poise and presence in every aspect of the competition. Her community service initiative, Type 1 Diabetes and Me: Generation Z, highlights her dedication to raising awareness and supporting those living with Type 1 Diabetes. Meanwhile, Mariana’s initiative, Post Positive by Mari, reflects her commitment to spreading positivity and empowering others.
