Winning a pageant is an unforgettable experience, and your crowning moment is one you'll cherish forever. But as magical as it is, a little preparation can ensure your crowning moment is picture-perfect! From the person placing the sash to the titleholder being crowned, here are the top tips to make sure this moment shines.

For the Person Sashing the Winner
✨ Sash first, always! The sash should go on before the crown—this prevents the awkward struggle of trying to place a sash over an already-crowned winner.
✨ Take your time! Ensure the sash isn’t twisted or backward before stepping back. A properly placed sash makes the photo flawless.
✨ Step aside. Once the sash is on, move out of the way so the focus stays on the winner and the crowning moment.
For the Person Crowning
👑 Be patient. If the sash isn’t on yet or needs adjusting, wait. A neatly placed sash will make the final moment look even better.
👑 Check the crown placement. Aim for the center of the winner’s head and be sure it's secure before stepping back.
👑 Hair pins are lifesavers. If you can, bring extra bobby pins to help secure the crown—just in case the director doesn’t have any on hand.
For the New Titleholder
✨ Squat down slightly. Unless the person crowning you is very tall, lowering yourself makes it easier for them to place the crown properly. It might not be comfortable in heels, but it ensures a smooth crowning moment!
✨ Look out, not down. Keep your eyes forward, not at the ground—this guarantees the best crowning moment photos.
✨ Enjoy the moment! This is YOUR time. Smile, take a deep breath, and soak it all in!
A perfect crowning moment isn’t just about winning—it’s about making sure the moment is captured beautifully for you to look back on forever. Follow these tips, and you’ll have a crowning moment worthy of a queen! 👑✨
